Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında çalışan öğretmenlerin bakış açılarına göre okul yöneticilerin dönüşümcü liderlik özelliklerinibelirlemektir. 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Diyarbakır şehri Bağlar ve Kayapınar merkezilçelerinde toplam 337 okuldan 6500 öğretmen araştırmanın evrenine kaynak olmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini, evrenden tesadüfî örnekleme yoluyla ile bulunan Bağlar ve Kayapınar merkez ilçelerinde ilköğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 360 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri Bassve Avolio (1997)tarafından geliştirilen “Dönüşümcü Liderlik Ölçeği” veri toplama aracının Cemaloğlu (2007) daha sonra Şirin ve Yetim (2009) çalışmaları sonucunda Türkçeye uyarlanan formu ve araştırmacının geliştirmiş olduğu “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” aracılığıyla” toplanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin incelenmesinde; “Standart sapma” (Ss), “Aritmetik ortalama” (X), “Frekans” (f) ve “Yüzde (%) oranları” hesap edilmiştir. Öte yandanbu bilimsel çalışmada, “T-Testi” ve “ANOVA Testi”nden yararlanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde; öğretmen algılarına göre okul yöneticilerinin dönüşümcü liderliğin tüm alt boyutlarında yeterli bulundukları görülmüştür. Aynı zamanda öğretmenlerin cinsiyetlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermediği görülürken, yaş ve öğrenim durumuna göre manidar şekildefarklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine “transformational leadership characteristics of school administrators according to the perceptions of teachers working in primary education institutions. The population of study consists of 6500 teachers working” at 337 schools in the central districts of Bağlar and Kayapınar in Diyarbakır city during the 2021- 2022 academic year. The sample of study consists of 360 teachers working in primary education institutions in Bağlar and Kayapınar central districts, which were determined by random sampling from the universe. The study data were collected through the” "Transformational Leadership Questionnaire" data collection tool developed by Bass and Avolio (1997), which was adapted into Turkish by Cemaloğlu (2007) and later by Şirin and Yetim (2009) and the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researcher. In the analysis of study data; standard deviation (Ss), arithmetic mean (X), frequency (f) and percent (%) values were calculated. On the other hand, t-test and ANOVA test were used in the study. As a result of the analyzes made; according to teacher perceptions, school administrators were found to be sufficient in all sub-dimensions of transformational leadership. At the same time, while it was seen “ that there was no significant difference according to the ” gender of the teachers, it was seen that there was a significant difference according to the age and educational status.
