Bulantı/kusma sık görülen semptomlardır ve bu semptomlara sahip hastalar genellikle gastroenteroloji bölümüne başvururlar veya refere edilirler. Gastroenterolojik hastalıkların yanısıra, birçok patolojik durum bulantı/ kusma'ya yol açabilir. Bunlardan bir tanesi elektrolit bozuklukları- dır ve en sık hiponatremi görülür. Dikkatli bir değerlendirme, hiponatremiye veya altta yatan hastalığa bağlı mortalite ve morbiditeyi engelleyecektir. Bu yazıda, hiponatremiye bağlı bulantı/kusma yakınmaları olan ve uygunsuz antidiüretik hormon sendromu ve hipotiroidi tanıları alan iki olgu sunulmaktadır.

Nausea/vomiting are frequently experienced symptoms, and patients having these symptoms are usually admitted or referred to Gastroenterology Departments. In addition to gastroenterological diseases, many pathological states can cause nausea/vomiting. One of them is electrolyte disorders, with hyponatremia the most common. A careful evaluation will prevent mortality and morbidity caused by hyponatremia or underlying disease. In this article, we present two cases suffering from nausea/vomiting due to hyponatremia in the course of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone syndrome and hypothyroidism.
