Volvular Small Bowel Obstruction Due to Meckel's Diverticulum; A Case Report

Meckel's diverticulum (MD) is the most common congenital abnormality of the gastrointestinal tract and found in approximately 2% of the population. Most patients are asymptomatic, the most common complications are inflammation, hemorrhage and intestinal obstruction. Here we present a volvulus case that is extremely rare complication of MD, in a 3 years old boy. This complication should be considered in the differential diagnosis when a child presents with the clinical and imaging features of intestinal obstruction
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 8.0px Helvetica; color: #7a7a79}
