Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Psikolojik İhtiyaçları, Geleceğe İlişkin Tutumları ile Algılanan Gelecekteki İstihdam Edilebilirlik Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin psikolojik ihtiyaçları, geleceğe ilişkin tutumları ile algılanan gelecekteki istihdam edilebilirlik arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 295 kadın ve 381 erkek; toplam 676 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak Yeni Psikolojik İhtiyaçları Değerlendirme Ölçeği, Geleceğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Algılanan Gelecekteki İstihdam Edilebilirlik Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin fakülte/yüksekokul değişkenine göre yapılan karşılaştırma sonucunda; Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin algılanan gelecekteki istihdam edilebilirlik puan ortalamasının hem Mimarlık ve Tasarım Fakültesi hem de Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi öğrencilerinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu araştırmada Algılanan Gelecekteki İstihdam Edilebilirlik Ölçeği ile Geleceğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği alt boyutlarından olumlu ve planlı; Yeni Psikolojik İhtiyaçları Değerlendirme Ölçeği alt boyutlarından başarı, ilişki, özerklik ve başatlık arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca Algılanan Gelecekteki İstihdam Edilebilirlik Ölçeği ile Geleceğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği alt boyutlarından kaygılı alt boyutu arasında negatif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan çok değişkenli doğrusal regresyon analizi sonucunda Geleceğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği alt boyutlarından olumlu ve planlı alt boyutun gelecekteki istihdam edilebilirlik algısı puanları üzerinde yordayıcı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Yeni Psikolojik İhtiyaçları Değerlendirme Ölçeği alt boyutlarından başarı, ilişki ve özerklik alt boyutunun gelecekteki istihdam edilebilirlik algısını yordadığı bulunmuştur.

Investigation of the Relationship Between The Psychological Needs of University Students and Their Attitudes to the Future and Their Perceived Future Employability

It is aimed to examine the relationship between university students' psychological needs, their attitudes toward the future, and their employability in the perceived future in this study. The study group of the research consisted of 295 females and 381 males; a total of 676 students. New Psychological Needs Assessment Scale, Future Attitude Scale, Perceived Future Employability Scale, and Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used as data collection tools. As a result of the comparison of university students made according to the faculty/school variable; It was found that the perceived future employability score average of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences students was significantly higher than the students’ score of both the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. In this study, a positive relationship was found Perceived Future Employability Scale with between ‘‘positive’’ and ‘‘planned’’ which are sub-dimensions of the the Future Attitude Scale, and ‘‘achievement’’, ‘‘relationship’’, ‘‘autonomy’’ and ‘‘dominance’’, which are sub-dimensions of the New Psychological Needs Assessment Scale. In addition, a negative relationship was found between the Perceived Future Employability Scale and the anxious sub-dimension of the Future Attitude Scale. As a result of the multivariate linear regression analysis, it was determined that the positive and planned sub-dimensions of the Future Attitude Scale were predictors on the future employability perception scores. Additionally, ‘’achievement’’, ‘’relationship’’ and ‘’autonomy’’ sub-dimensions of the New Psychological Needs Assessment Scale were found to predict future employability perception.
