Initial Intervention and Radiographic Imaging of Maxillofacial Trauma Patient

Maxillofacial trauma cases require multidisciplinary approach, with cooperation of the emergency services, plastic surgery and dentistry departments. These injuries have high prevalence and radiologic evaluation is required for diagnosis and treatment planning. The technological developments of radiology is an advantage for physicians and patients. However these techniques should be selected accurately according to cases. The purpose of this review is to present a brief summary of the first aid to the maxillofacial injuries, imaging techniques made in maxillofacial fractures and radiologic developments
