Fasiyal Defektlerin Medpor İmplantlarla Rekonstrüksiyonu: 3 Olgu Sunumu Reconstruction of Facial Defects With Medpore Implants

The anthropometric proportions of the maxillofacial skeleton are the foundation of facial beauty. Alloplastic materials are used with an increasing frequency for facial reconstruction. Porous Polyetilen Medpor®, Porex Surgical, Newman, GA is one of the most frequently used alloplastic material for craniofacial reconstruction. In this study, the facial esthetic enhancement and contour remodelling of three different patients who have varying degrees of facial hypoplasia or asymmetry by medpor implants are described. Subjective criterias required for facial aesthetics and proportions of the face are used as the basis for planning structural changesAlloplastic graft materials used for facial reconstruction are reliable, stable and long lasting treatment alternative for providing facial esthetics
