Dentomaxillofacial Cone Beam Computerized Tomography CBCT Part 2

Whereas early CBCT devices were dedicated to implantology and dental imaging, today, applications extend to the face and skull base as a whole. CBCT has largely replaced medical tomography for most dental diagnostic tasks and is now commonly used for a variety of purposes in oral implantology, dentomaxillofacial surgery, image-guided surgical procedures, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. This manuscript will discuss clinical applications of CBCT, which is becoming more popular in everyday practice
