Özet Araştırmada, 1996-1999 döneminde. İstanbul Ticaret Borsası Canlı Hayvan ve Et Şubesi'nde kasaplık koyun ve koyun eti pazarlamasında, tüketim pazarında yer alan aracıların hizmetleri karşılığı aldıkla­rı marjlar ve aracı marjlarının tüketici fiyatları içindeki paylan belirlenmiştir.1996-1999 döneminde, koyunlarda toptancı marjının, perakende et fiyatı içinde, 1996 yılından itiba­ren sırasıyla her yıl, %6.28, 5.53,6.45 ve 5.34; perakendeci marjının ise sırasıyla her yıl, % 10.28, 11.89, 14.29 ve 15.96 oranında pay aldığı tespit edilmiştir.1996-1999 döneminde, koyunlarda toptancı marjının satış fiyatı içindeki payının ortalama %5.9 oldu­ğu ve 1996 yılına göre 1999 yılında %15 oranında azaldığı; ilgili dönemde koyun etinde perakendeci marjı­nın, satış fiyatı içindeki payının ise ortalama % 13.11 olduğu ve 1999 yılında 1996 yılına göre 55 arttığı ve toplam marjın satış fiyatı içindeki payının ise ortalama %18.01 olduğu ve 1999 yılında 1996 yılına göre %29 oranında arttığı belirlenmiştir. THE INTERMEDIARY MARGINS OF SLAUGHTERED SHEEPS AND SHEEP MEAT AT ISTANBUL LIVESTOCK MARKETSummary In this research, what is tried to found out is; the consumer market intermediary's mar­gins and share's of the margins within the sale price of slaughtered sheeps and sheep meat marketing at Istan­bul Livestock Market for 1996-1999 period.İn this period for sheeps, the whole-sale margins within sale price from 1996 to 1999 for each year as follows: %, 6.28, 5.53, 6.45 and 5.34: Retails margins for the same period as follows: %. 10.28, 11.89, 14.29 and 15.96.According to this findings it is determined that; in 1996-1999 period, for sheeps, whole-sale margins average share within the sale price 5.9%, and from 1996 to 1999 decreased 15%. For retails whole-sale mar­gins average share within the sale price is 13.11%. and from 1996 to 1999, incrased 55%. Finaly. total mar­gin's average w ithin the sale price is 19.01% and incrased 29% for the same period.
