Sporcularda görülebilen ve genellikle tanısı konamayan veya hatalı olarak meniskus tanısı konabilen diz eklemi kıkırdak yaralanması artrotomi sırasında 4 olguda saptandı. Bu 4 olgu nedeni ile literatür bilgileri ışığında, bu tip kıkırdak lezyonlarının oluş şekli, tanı kriterleri ve tedavi yöntemleri belirtilmeye çalışıldı.

Injury of the cartilage of the knee joint which may be observed in those who deal with sports and which is not generally recognized and thus erroneousiy misdiagnosed was detected in 4 cases during arthrotomy. Attempts have been made to identify the way these types of cartilaginous lesions are produced, diagnostic criteria and methods of treatment.
