Araştırmada, omuz periarintlerinde interferans akım tedavisinin etkileri saptanmaya çalışıldı. 20 hasta üzerinde 4 vakum elektrod aracılığı ile 0-100 cps. Ritmik frekans uygulanarak yapılan 10'ar dakikalık 15 seanstan oluşan tedavi programı sonunda vakaların büyük çoğunluğunda iyi ve orta derecede iyi sonuçlar elde edildiği görüldü. İnterferans akım tedavisinin özellikle ağrı ve belli bir ölçüde de eklemde hareket açıklığı üzerine etkili oluşu bu akımların analjezik ve myorelakson etkilerine bağlandı.

In this study we tried fo determine the effects of interference currents on the clinical symptoms in peridrthritis of the shoulder. 20 patients were included in this study. The therapy program consisted of 10 minutes daily applications through 4 vacuum electrodes and was carried on or a period of 15 days. Good and medium results were obtained in a majority of the patients at the end of the therapy program. The interference current therapy was effective especially on the pain, and the shoulder range of motion for a certain degree. The se findings were attributed to the analgesic ond myorelawant effects of the interference currents.
