Çene ankilozları bizim memlekette en çok kulak iltihabları veya çene osteomyelitlerinden sonra hasıl olmaktadır. Konjenital olarak tesadüf ettiğimiz bir vak'ada her iki çene kemiğinin birkaç yerde synostosis teşkil ettiği ve bunu ancak bir sizo ile kesmek suretile iki çene kemiğini biri diğerinden ayırdığımızı ve bu gibi vak'alara Tıp Edebiyatında çok nadir tesadüf edildiğini ve 1934 tarihinden bugüne kadar ancak bir tek vak'aya tesadüf edebildiğimi belirtmek isterim.

In our country ankyiosis of the mandible usualiy occurs as a result of the middle ear infections or the osteomyehtis of the mandible. I wished to report here a rare case, the congenital ankyiosis of the mandible which has formeo. Synostosis between the several parts of the mandible and the maxilla in which we have used a chisel to separate the two. Such cases are very rare in the medical literature and from 1954 up to day I have only met one case by chance.
