Safra Kesesinde Nadir Bir Polipoid Lezyon Olan Adenomyomatozis Saptanan Adolesan Hasta: Olgu Sunumu
Adolescent Patient with Adenomyomatosis, a Rare Polypoid Lesion in the Gall Bladder: Case Report
Gallbladder adenomyomatosis is a benign, acquired anomaly, characterized by invagination of the hypertrophic mucosal epithelium be termed the Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses into the thickened muscular layer. There are three forms of adenomyomatosis: segmental, fundal and diffuse form that occurs more rarely. Its etiology and pathogenesis are not well understood, but chronic inflammation of the gallbladder is a necessary precursor. Adenomyomatosis is usually asymptomatic and is discovered incidentally by imaging or by pathology examination of cholecystectomy specimens. In this article, a case with adenomyomatosis in childhood is presented and discussed.
