BILATERAL TARSAL TUNNEL SYNDROME; OCCURED IN LOWER EXTREMITY SPASTISITY, A CASE REPORT

Tarsal tunnel is one of the anatomical formations in the ankle. Posterior tibial nerve entrapment in the canal, that is formed by this tunnel, causes tarsal tunnel syndrome. The most common reasons of entrapment are bone and junction deformities, trauma, space occupying lesions and systemic diseases. The primary treatment for this entrapment syndrome is conservative methods, but those who are not irresponsive to those treatments request surgical tretments. Tarsal tunnel syndrome is commonly unilateral and mostly seen in women. In this case, we present a bilateral tarsal tunnel syndrome occured because of a lower extremites spasticity, which is uncommon.
