ANALYZE THE REALITY OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN THE PALESTINIAN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION IN THE AREA OF RAMALLAH AND ALBIREH

Öz The study aimed to study and analyze the reality of strategic management in the Palestinian nonprofit organization in the area of Ramallah and Albireh. In addition, this study aimed to find out some demographic variables such as gender, staff year’s experience, employees’ study level, and the age organization, on the operations of the strategic management in the above mentioned sector. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used a special questionnaire to collect data; it was composed of 57 paragraphs distributed on different scopes such as formulation, execution, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. After verification of the questioner by a group of arbitrators and was proven reliable, valid. It was found stable by using the screening and reexamination (test retest) using the spearman correlation coefficient (0.897). The research population was composed of 144 organizations registered in Palestinian nonprofit organization guide for the year 1996, the sample was selected in a random organized way and were covered only 27 organizations employing 150 administrative staff. The percentage of valid questionnaires for analysis was 86.4%.The researcher used the statistical package program SPSS using single analysis of variance test and spearman’s correlation coefficient, medium and standard deviation. The research found a number of results, in which the most important was that strategic administration was not affected by demographic variables expect for organization life variable, and university qualifications for the administrators. The result has shown an age variable from 5-10 and educational qualifications up to PhD. The study also had shown that these organizations depends on drafting process rather than focusing on implementation processes, monitoring and evaluation. The study concluded asset of recommendations , in which the most important should be that Palestinian nonprofit organizations must emphasis on implementation, monitoring and evaluation with the same degree as on the formulation and should set up specialized committees to conduct environmental analysis SWOT. The integration of different organizations that provide similar services in the same geographical region, and realization of similar studies in governmental institutes.
