There are many learning style models which deal with learning styles. In this study, learning style models are explained and in high school biology class, students’ access to teaching activities based on learning styles and their effects on students’ attitude are observed. Research is carried out with high school first grade students. Experimental method with control group is used. In the research, with experimental group, activities based on four learning styles, and with control group traditional teaching were applied. In the research, for the collection of data, a 20 question Biology Class Achievement Test and Attitude Scale for Biology Class prepared by researcher, were applied. Independent t-tests and analyses are applied to the acquired data. Research results show that in order to increase success in high school biology classes, teaching based on learning styles is more effective than traditional teaching methods.
