Öz ÖZETBilindiği gibi Leyla ile Mecnun hikayesi eski edebiyatımızın Yusuf u Züleyha'dan sonra en fazla işlediği mesnevi konusudur. Hikayenin mecazi aşktan ilahi aşka yönelişi anlatmaya son derece müsait yapısı, konunun pek çok Fars ve Türk şairi tarafından yeniden kaleme alınmasına sebep olmuştur.
