Bu araştırmada, Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi (UÜTF)'nde çalışan araştırma görevlileri ve uzmanların yaşam kalitesini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Temmuz- Ağustos 2001'de Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde çalışan 237 asistan ve 36 uzman doktorda, WHOQOL-BREF(TR) yaşam kalitesi ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen yaşam kalitesi bedensel, psikolojik, sosyal, çevre ve ulusal çevre alan puanları sırasıyla 15.0, 14.5, 14.0, 12.9 ve 13.0'dır. Uzmanlarda, temel tıp bilimlerinde çalışanlarda ve evlilerde yaşam kalitesi alan puanları daha yüksek bulunmuştur.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of life of research assistants and specialists working in Uludag University School of Medicine. The study was carried out using WHOQOL-BREF (TR) quality of life scale and 237 assistants and 36 specialists were included between July-August 2001. The scores for physical, psychological, social, environment and national environment were 15.0, 14.5, 14.0, 12.9 and 13.0 respectively. Specialist and those were married and those working in the basic sciences had higher quality of life domain scores.
