THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ORGANIZATIONAL THREAT RECOGNITION, AFFECTIVE CONSTRUCT AND CREATIVITY OF THE RESEARCH ASSISTANTS’ IN WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between organizational threat recognition, affective constructs and creativity of the research assistants. The data were obtained through three scales replied by 160 research assistants at Gazi University. The data were collected using a “Threat Recognition Scale”, an “Affective Scale”, and a “Creativity Scale”. In the analyses of the data, standard deviation, Pearson Moments Product Correlation Coefficient and the Stepwise Regression Analysis were used. The results indicated that threat recognition and affective construct are related to creativity. The Stepwise Regression Analysis showed that threat recognition and positive affect determine creativity more than other factors.
