Bazı organik fosforlu insektisitlerin kalıntıları domates ve hıyar örneklerinde, 1999-2000 yılları arasında E.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi ve E.Ü. İlaç Araştırma Geliştirme ve Farmakokinetik Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi laboratuvarları'nda araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla İzmir'de Menderes, Emiralem, Kemalpaşa ve Seferihisar ilçelerinin pazarlarına değişik tarihlerde dörder kez gidilerek analiz edilecek örnekler alınmıştır. Söz konusu ürünlerde yaygın olarak kullanıldığı tespit edilen chlorpyrifos-ethyl, diazinon, dichlorvos, malathion ve parathion-methyl gibi etkili maddeler çoklu kalıntı analiz yöntemiyle araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla NPD dedektörlü bir gaz kromatografi cihazından yararlanılmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında analiz edilen 32 adet domates örneğinden 12 tanesinde organik fosforlu insektisit kalıntısına rastlanmıştır. Sadece bir örnekte dichlorvos, bir başka örnekte de chlorpyrifos-ethyl, iki örnekte de parathion-methyl kalıntısı tolerans değerlerinin üzerinde tespit edilmiştir. 32 adet hıyar örneğinin 14 tanesinde aranan organik fosforlu inektisitlerin kalıntılarına rastlanılmıştır. Dichlorvos iki örnekte tolerans değerinin altında, bir örnekte tolerans değerinin çok az üzerinde ve bir örnekte de tolerans değerinin 3 kat üzerinde tespit edilmiştir. Diazinon ise sekiz adet örnekde bulunmasına rağmen tolerans değerinin oldukça altında tespit edilebilmiştir. Malathion kalıntısına sadece 5 hıyar örneğinde ve, chlorpyrifos-ethyl kalıntısına da sadece iki örnekte rastlanılmış ancak tespit edilen değerler toleranslar dahilinde olmuştur.

Studies on the residue of some organophosphorus insecticides in tomato and cucumber in market of Izmir province. Organophosphorus (OP) insecticides are widely used in fruits and vegetables against pests in Turkey. These insecticides are very effective chemicals, but they also have high characteristic toxicities. The extensive use of these compounds can cause contamination of fruits and vegetables. This trial was conducted during 1999-2000. Residue of some OP such as chlorpyrifos-ethyl, diazinon, dichlorvos, malathion and parathion-methyl in tomato and cucumber were investigated. The samples were taken from Menderes, Kemalpaşa, Seferihisar and Emiralem in İzmir. For the determination of organophosphorus insecticides multiresidue analysis method with GC/NPD detector was used. The finding for tomato and cucumber demonstrated that OP-insecticides residue are generally well below codex tolerances. Residues of OP-insecticides were detected in 12 out of 32 tomato samples analized in this study. Dichlorvos and chlorpyrifos-ethyl in one sample each and parathion-methyl in two samples were determined over their tolerance levels. Residues of OP-insecticides were detected in 14 out of 32 cucumber samples. Two of them had lower and one of them had residues slightly over tolerance value of dichlorvos, while residue of dichlorvos were detected three times more than codex tolerances in one sample. Although diazinon residue was detected in eight samples but the values were much lover than tolerances. Similarly malathion residues were detected in five samples and chlorpyrifos-ethyl in two samples but the values were lower than the tolerances.
