Description of three new species of Geostiba Thomson, 1858 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae) from central western Anatolia
As result of faunistic studies from Afyonkarahisar province in central western Anatolia, three new species of the subgenusTropogastrosipalia Scheerpeltz belonging to the genus Geostiba Thomson are described and illustrated: Geostiba ahirensis sp. nov. (AhırDağları), G. sandiklica sp. nov. (Sandıklı Dağı), and G. karakusensis sp. nov. (Karakuş Dağları). A key is presented for distinguishing thenew species from related congeners and a map shows the distributions of seven species.
