A new species of Surazomus Reddell and Cokendolpher, 1995(Arachnida: Schizomida) from Rondônia, Brazil

A new species, Surazomusrafaeli sp. nov., is described based on a male from the State of Rondônia, Brazil. It is characterized by a long, pointed, and curved ventral projection on the pedipalp femur, and a short and conical ventral projection on the pedipalp patella. Moreover, the male flagellum has Vm5 distant from Vl1, lacks Dl2, and the middle portion of the flagellum’s depression is raised and bearing Dm4.
