A new species and additional records of the genus Medon Stephens, 1833 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Paederinae) from Turkey

Medon assingi sp. N. From Anatolia is described, and its diagnostic characters are illustrated. A total of 22 species of Medon are now known from Turkey. Moreover, additional records are reported for 14 species of the genus Medon from Turkey.
