Five iridoid glucosides aucubin (I), bartsioside (II), melampyroside (III), mussaenoside (IV) and gardoside meathyl ester (V) as well as the lignan glucoside dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol-4- 0-b-D-glucoside (VI) were isolated from the overground parts of Bellardia trixago.The structure elucidation of the isolated compounds (I-VI) was realized on the basis of spectral evidence (UV, IR, 1 H and 13 C NMR) and the results were confirmed by comparison of the isolated compounds with authentic samples on TLC.
