Potato population derived from the TPS progenies of the crosses made between the resistant, medium resistant and susceptible parents were grown at Bozdağ (highland) for two years in order to select resistant clones to PLRV. The resistant clones were selected based on a truncated selection procedure. The following crosses were found to be resistant to PLRV and to have high yield;Pilicia x (NY)(R241-16), Bzura X Chipeta, Abnaki x NDA2031-1, ;(NY)(R241-16) x (NY)(R247-1) and Abnaki x (NY(R247-1).
