High Yielding Oxidative Deprotection of Silyl and Pyranyl Ethers to Their Corresponding Carbonyl Compounds with Strontium Manganate in the Presence of Aluminium Chloride in Solution and Under Solvent-Free Conditions
Strontium manganate (SrMnO4) in the presence of aluminium chloride (AlCl3) is an efficient reagent for the high yielding oxidative deprotection of aromatic and aliphatic silyl and pyranyl ethers into their corresponding carbonyl compounds, in solution and under solvent-free conditions.
