A New Genus (Leptaleum DC.) Record for Turkey

The monotypic Leptaleum DC. (Cruciferae/Brassicaceae) is recorded for the first time from Turkey. The diagnostic characters of Leptaleum filifolium (Willd.) DC. are given and its ecology and conservation status are discussed.
