Bu çalışmada, mis ahtapotta (Eledone moschata Lamarck, 1799), PVC tüplerin yuva olarak kullanılması ve yuva çapı ile rengin etkisi araştırılmıştır. Denemeler 13.6+1.5°C sıcaklıkta, %o37 tuzlulukta ve doğal fotoperiyotta yapılmıştır. Doğadan yakalanan toplam 7 adet mis ahtapot deneme tankına konulmuştur ve 48 saat süre ile ortama adapte edilmiştir. İkinci 48 saat, tanka, birey sayısı kadar, 63 mm ve 90 mm çapa sahip, 150 mm uzunlukta açık gri PVC tüpler konulmuştur. Üçüncü 48 saat, ahtapot sayısı kadar, seçilen PVC tüp ebatında siyah PVC tüpler tank ortamına yerleştirilmiştir. E moschata bireylerinin 90 mm çapındaki PVC tüpleri seçtiği, ancak renk ayırımı yapmadığı ve deneme süresi içinde %57 oranında yuvalandığı tespit edilmiştir.
In this study, using of PVC tubes as a shelter and additionally effects of diameter and color of PVC tubes in adult musky octopus (Eledone moschata Lamarck, 1799) were investigated. The trials were performed at 13.6±1.5°C, at 37%o, and at natural photoperiodicity. Total seven wild-caught musky octopuses were placed in trial tank and were adapted at 48 h. At second 48 h, 63 mm and 90 mm diameter and 150 mm length of a light gray PVC tubes were put in the tank adequately. At third 48 h, a black PVC tubes which have same diameter as chosen the PVC tubes were added in the tank. It's detected that £ moschata chose 90 mm diameter of the PVC tubes, but they did not discriminate from color and 57% of the specimens occupied the PVC tubes in the period.
