Kalkan balığı (Psetta maxima Linnaeus, 1758)'nın Doğu Karadeniz koşullarında büyüme özellikleri

Bu çalışma, Su Ürünleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü deniz balıkları kuluçkahanesinde üretilen kalkan (Psetta maxima Linnaeus, 1758) yavrularının Doğu Karadeniz şartlarında (8-31°C deniz suyu sıcaklığı; ‰16–18 tuzluluk) pazar boyuna (yaklaşık 1 kg) kadar büyüme, yaşama ve yem değerlendirme oranları araştırılmıştır. Kafes denemesinde balıklar 15 ayda ortalama 33.6±0.31 cm boy ve 547.6±14.18 g ağırlığa; tanklarda ise 22 ay boyunca sürdürülen denemelerde balıklar ortalama 37.1±0.24 cm boy ve 836.5±17.33 g ağırlığa ulaşmıştır. Growth attributes of turbot (Psetta maxima Linnaeus, 1758) were reared in the Black Sea condition. In this study, growth, survival and food conversion rates in tanks and cages of turbot (Psetta maxima Linnaeus, 1758) that were obtained from the sea fish hatchery of the Central Fisheries Research Institute were investigated in the Black Sea condition (8-31°C and 16-18‰ salinity) until the selling weight (~ 1 kg). The average total length and body weight of fish in the sea cage at the end of 15 months were 33.6±0.31cm and 547.6±14.18 g respectively, while the average total length and body weight of fish in the tanks at the end of 22 months were 37.1±0.24 cm and 836.5±17.33 g respectively. In the sea cage trials, increasing temperature of water surface exceeded the lethal level of turbot (28-30°C) and many fish died. But in the tanks trials, death was not observed in the same season, because for tanks, seawater provided from 27 m depth (
