Çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan Electre yöntemi, sayısal analiz bakımından birçok problemi çözmede araştırmacılara yardım sağlamaktadır. Electre’nın sayısal analiz gerektiren lojistik alanı için geniş çözümler oluşturacağı düşünülmüştür. Bu nedenden ötürü Malatya şehrinde bulunan kargo firmalarına anket çalışması uygulanmış. Anket çalışmalarının sonuçlarına göre sayısal kriterler belirlenip, analizler oluşturulmuştur. Analizler vasıtasıyla kargo firmasının yeni açacağı mağazasının yeri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Analizlerin firmaya yeni mağazası için yer bulma kararında bir fikir vereceği düşünülmüştür.

One of the Multi criteria decision making methods, the Electre method,helps researchers to solve several problems of quantitative analysis.Electre is considered to provide broad solutions for logistics which require numerical analysis.For this reason, a survey was administered to the shipping companies in Malatya. According to the results of the survey, numerical criteria were determined and analyses were done.By means of these analyses, the location of the new branch of the shipping company was determined. The analyses were regarded useful for the company to decide where to place their new branch
