Klasik Türk siirinin kemale erdiği on yedinci yüzyılda yetisen kudretli sairler ve telif edilen eserler, günümüzde gerektiği gibi tanınmamaktadır. Sultan IV. Murat zamanında kadılık yapan Cem’î ve onun tek eseri Divanı da bunlardan biridir. Bu makalemizde Cem’î’nin hayatıve edebî sahsiyetini belirleyip onun Divanını çesitli yönlerden tanıtmaya çalıstık.

The mighty poets -educated in seventeenth century when Classical Turkish Poetry reached perfection- and composed works are not duly known. Cem’î, who was a judge along the reign of Sultan Murad the 4th, and his Divan, his sole work are among these. In this article we tried to define the life and literary personality of Cem’î and to publicize his Divan in several aspects.
