Results: The averages of mean deviation (MD), pattern standard deviation (PSD), short term fluctuation (SF), corrected pattern standard deviation (CPSD) were found as -5.6 ±3.9 dB, 3.8 ±2.2 dB, 3.1 ±1.3 dB, 2 ±2.3 dB respectively, in the normal individuals. This index values in diabetics without retinopathy were found as -4.3 ±3.8 dB, 3.6 ±1.8 dB, 2.6 ±1.1 dB, 1.9 ±1.9 dB. In diabetics with background retinopathy, those were determined as -5.9 ±4.5 dB, 4.3 ±2.5 dB, 2.9 ±1.3 dB, 2.8 ±2.7 dB. The differences among those indices were not statistically significant (p>0.05). In addition, the differences among the averages of the sums of threshold of both stimulus did not find statistically significant in four quadrants (p>0.05).
