Khios Amphora ve Lagynoslarında Görülen Ortak Üretici İsimleri

Khios kökenli amphora ve lagynoslar Doğu Akdeniz, Batı Anadolu, Ege Adaları, Yunan Anakarası ve Karadeniz Bölgesi’ndeki yüzey araştırmaları ve kazılarda ele geçmiştir. İki formun bazı örneklerinin tek kulplarında üretici mühürleri tespit edilmiştir. Mühürler arasında tam, kısaltma ve ligatürden oluşan benzer isimler görülmektedir. Bu isimler Ἀθήναιος, Ἀπελλῆς, Ἀπολ(, Ἀπολλώνιος, Ἀριστομένης, Γα(, Δα(, Διονύσιοσ, Ἐπίγονος, Ἑρμίας, Ζήνασ, Κρό(, Κρόνι(, Μεν(, Μενο(, Μένων, Μου(, ΜΠΥ veya ΜΠΥ[Ε?], Παρ( ve Χαρ( mühürlerinden oluşmaktadır. Makalede amphora ve lagynoslardaki benzer mühürlerin aynı üreticiye mi ait sorusuna açıklık getirmek hedeflenmiştir. Benzer isimlere sahip amphora ve lagynos mühürleri, muhtemelen aynı üreticinin örnekleri olmalıdır. Çünkü mühürlerin kullanışı ve kombinasyonları, bu durumu açıklamaktadır: Aynı tam isimler, aynı harften itibaren oluşan kısaltma isimler, benzer harfler, ligatürlerdeki kombinasyonlar ve aynı harften bölünerek iki satır yazılan isimler. Bu tespitler, Khioslu seramik ustasının muhtemelen hem amphora hem de lagynos üretimi gerçekleştirmiş olmalıdır.

The article presents Chian amphorae and lagynoi found in surveys and excavations conducted in the Eastern Mediterranean, in Western Anatolia, in the Aegean Islands, on the Greek mainland and in the Black Sea Region. Some of these amphorae and lagynoi bear stamps with producer names. The names on these stamps are written out in full, are abbreviated or ligatured: Ἀθήναιος, Ἀπελλῆς, Ἀπολ(, Ἀπολλώνιος, Ἀριστομένης, Γα(, Δα(, Διονύσιος, Ἐπίγονος, Ἑρμίας, Ζήνας, Κρό(, Κρόνι(, Μεν(, Μενο(, Μένων, Μου(, ΜΠΥ or ΜΠΥ[Ε?], Παρ( and Χαρ(. The author aims to ascertain whether similar stamps on amphorae and lagynoi belong to the same producer. Similar named stamps on amphora and lagynos must be examples of the same producer, as usage and combinations of stamps explain this case: Same complete names, same letters of abbreviated names, same letters, combinations of ligatures and names written in two rows of sentences divided from the same letter. These features indicate that Chian ceramic craftsmen produced both amphorae and lagynoi.
