Hastanelerde Bilgi Yönetiminin Etkinliği Nasıl Ölçülür?

Abstract: This study aims to test knowledge management effectiveness in hospitals. In recent years, a lot of enterprises are supportive of knowledge management activities to achieving strategic and operational goals and improved performance. Also especially hospitals integrate knowledge management process into operational and strategic actions. Hence, measurable of knowledge management system effectiveness is important. In this respect, firstly, in this study knowledge management and system factors are defined, and then knowledge management effectiveness are assessed in the light of the data collected through a questionnaire applied to physician working in the Hospital with 600 beds. The findings in the paper demonstrate that hospitals consider knowledge management infrastructure capability including of structure, technology and culture to benefit from knowledge management activities

How is Knowledge Manegement Effectiveness Measurable in Hospitals?

Özet: Bu çalışma, hastanelerde bilgi yönetimi sisteminin etkinliğini test etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Son yıllarda bir çok işletme stratejik ve operasyonel hedeflerine ulaşmak ve performanslarını geliştirmek amacıyla bilgi yönetimi uygulamalarına destekleme çabası içerisindedirler. Ayrıca özel olarak hastaneler de, bilgi yönetimi sürecini operasyonel ve stratejik faaliyetlerine entegre etmektedirler. Dolayısıyla bilgi yönetimi sistemin etkinliğinin ölçülmesi önem taşımaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada, öncelikle bilgi yönetimi ve bilgi yönetimi sistemini oluşturan unsurlar ele alınmıştır. İkinci olarak bilgi yönetimi sisteminin etkinliği 600 yataklı bir Kamu Hastanesinde görevli hekimlere uygulanan anket verileri ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, hastanelerin bilgi yönetimi uygulamalarından daha etkin yararlanabilmesi için örgütsel yapı, teknoloji ve kültürün oluşturduğu bilgi yönetiminin alt yapı yeteneklerine önem vermesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.
