THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY

This study consists of three manufacturing firrns operating in Turkey. To obtain information about Total Quality Management (TQM) practice, two multinational and one national manufacturing fırms of approximateiy the same size (in terms of employees) in different industries were seîected fo r the study. A structured interview was conducted to examine the implementation of TQM in the seîected organisations. This study reports the findings from three organisations which have introduced TQM.
