4-6 YAŞ ÇOCUKLARIN ARKADAŞLARININ ve ANNELERİNİN DUYGULARINI ALGILAMALARI VE BU DUYGULARA NEDENSEL ATIFLARI

The aim of the study to determine whether the children recognize the emotions (angry, happy, unhappy) expressed by facial cues. Also the types of cues (expressive or behavioral) used by children to attribute causal reasons of emotions were questioned. The subjects were 24 children attending preschools. The results revealed that children can understand emotions expressed by facial cues. And t hey express individual and famial reasons for both own and their friends’ happiness. But they mention about famial and friendship issues for their friends’ angry. The results for unhappiness was not signifıcant.
