Premature ejaculation a male sexual dysfunction characterized by ejaculation which always or nearly always occurs prior to or within about one minute of vaginal penetration, and the inability to delay ejaculation on all or nearly all vaginal penetrations, and negative personal consequences, such as distress, bother, frustration and/or the avoidance of sexual intimacy. The effects of circumcision on PE have been the subject of much debate. There is also a great deal of disagreement about the appropriate age for circumcision. This study aims to investigate the relationship between circumcision age and premature ejaculation. The Intravaginal Ejaculatory Latency Time (IVELT) scale was used to measure the time interval between penetration and intravaginal ejaculation. Using the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5), all cases’ scores were evaluated. Using Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) and ISSM definition of premature ejaculation, PE was diagnosed in patients. Participants’ age of circumcision varied from 1 year to 20 years (mean ± SD 8.5 ± 4). The range of IVELT, PEDT, and IIEF values was 0 to 600 (mean ± SD 63.4 ± 89.16), 4 to 18 (mean ± SD 11.65 ± 31), and 24 to 29 (mean ± SD 26.7 ± 1.4). IVELT in the two groups of circumcision age under 7 and over 7 was significantly different (p-value = 0.01). It is observed that participants who are circumcised under 7 have a longer intravaginal ejaculation time than those who are circumcised over 7. These results showed no significant difference between PEDT (p-value = 0.6) and IIEF (p-value = 0.3) values between the two groups. It was concluded that PE is much more common in men circumcised after the age of 7, and the duration of IVELT decreases with the increase in circumcision age.
