Koronavirüs 2019 Hastalığı (COVID-19) ve Gebelik

COVID-19’un yayılması bir halk sağlığı krizi olarak tüm dünyayı tehdid ediyor. Koronavirüsler soğuk algınlığı tablosundan ağır solunum yolu hastalığına ve ölüme kadar varan farklı şiddette hastalıklara yol açarlar. Gebelikte etkilenen kadınlarla ilgili vaka serileri sınırlı sayıdadır. Gebe gibi duyarlı bir topluluk için önlem tedbirleri ve tedavi protokollerinin önemi giderek artmaktadır. Gebe kadınlarda epidemiyoloji, klinik seyir ve tedavilerin sonuçları hakkındaki bilgiler biriktikçe, öneriler güncellenmektedir. Gebelik sırasında COVID-19’dan etkilenen kadınları ele almak ve sağlık hizmeti verenlere rehberlik etmek için hızlı bir değerlendirme yapıldı, böylece annelerin, bebeklerinin ve doğum ünitesindeki personelin korunması ve tedavisi için en güncel bilgilerin ortaya çıkarılması hedeflendi. Bu amaçla, “COVID-19 ve Gebelik” başlığı ile PubMed, Google Scholar gibi konuyla ilgili bilgi tabanlarında arama yapıldı, ayrıca UpToDate, ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists), SMFM (Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine), CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), NIH( National Institute of Health), WHO (World Health Organization), TJOD ( Türk Jinekoloji ve Obstetrik Derneği) gibi çeşitli örgütlerin internet sitelerinde yayınlanan görüşlere başvuruldu.
