Sonuç: Sonuç olarak her iki grup arasında yan etki sıklığı açısından fark bulunmadığından çocukların aşıyla önlenebilir hastalıklardan korunması için aynı anda farklı aşıların uygulanması benimsenmelidir. Objective: To date with the addition of new vaccines to the routine childhood immunization programmes multiple injections has become an important issue. Parents have the belief that adverse effects may increase when different vaccines are given at the same time. In this study the prevalence of adverse effects after routine diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT) and oral polioviruses (OPV) administration were examined, and the rate of local or systemic adverse effects after simultaneous or single administration of combined vaccines with hepatitis B vaccine was determined. Material and Method: A total of 482 babies that came to our hospital for third dose of DPT-OPV vaccines were included in the study. DPT-OPV was administered to 284 (%58.9) babies, whereas DPT-OPV- and HBV were administered to a number of 198 (%41.1 ) babies. The prevalence of adverse effects were examined in the babies. Result: The most frequently seen adverse effect was fever, which was recorded in 265 (%55) cases. The prevalence of fever and other side effects wasn't different between the two groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: As a result because there was no difference between the two groups in the prevalence of adverse effects, simultaneous administration of vaccines should be used in order to prevent children from infectious diseases efficiently."> [PDF] Karma aşının tek başına ya da hepatit B aşısıyla birlikte yapılması aşıya bağlı yan etki sıklığını artırıyor mu? | [PDF] Does simultaneous administration of combined vaccines with hepatitis B vaccine increase the adverse effects? 0.05).
