Yeryüzünde halife olarak var edilen insan; bütün yaratıklardan üstün kılınmış, şan ve şeref sahibi bir varlıktır.1 İbadet etmesi için yaratılan, ilahi emaneti yüklenen, daha dünyaya gelmeden Allah’ın Rab oluşunu kabul eden insan, akıl ve vicdan ile donatılmış,2 din konusunda kendisine rehberlik etmesi için peygamber ve kitaplar gönderilmiştir. Din, insanlık tarihi ile başlamış, insanla beraber devam etmekte ve öyle görünüyor ki insanla beraber var olacak bir kurumdur. Bu sebeple tarihin hiçbir devrinde inançsız topluluğa rastlanmamıştır. Tarihi devrelerde olduğu kadar tarih öncesinde de insanoğlunun bazı inançlara sahip olarak yaşadığı, yapılan tüm ilmi araştırmalardan anlaşılmaktadır.

The main elements of the Muslim faith is the faith in the Hereafter and it constitutes one of the basic subjects of the Qur'an. This shows the importance of this subject to us and how to build a balance between the world and the next. Belief is a inalienable phenomenon for human beings. This belief will give peace and happiness the human beings on the world and after death and will have give beneficial consequences in the Hereafter. Because believing to a life after death is one of the main sources for man's happiness in this world Believe in the Hereafter are giving the idea that human beings are not alone on the world.
