Behçet Sendromunda Epidemiyolojik ve Klinik Bulgular

SUMMARY Clinical Findings and Epidemiology in Behçet's Syndrome In the epidemiologic study we made on 54 patients with Behcet's Syndro¬me; Male/Female ratio was 1.6/1, and the majority of the patients were 31-40 years old. The first symptoms appeared at an average age of 27.++ 1.10 years independent of sex. The average duration of the illness was 6.2 + 0.55 years. The most frequent initial findings of the disease were aphtae, genital ulcer and acneiform eruptions, in order of frequency. Oral aphtae was deter¬mined to be the first lesion in 90.8 % of the patients and 25.9 % of the patients had Complete Behçet's Syndrome, 74.1 % of the patients had Incomplete Behçet's Syndrome and it was determined that pathergie test was { + ) in 81.5 % of the patients and the test scores were unrelated to sex. (p>0.05) The family history was determined positive in 7.4 % of the patients.
