Comprehensive Modeling Techniques Used In Cartographic Generalisation and An Application Of Text Generalization
Cartographic generalisation requires an automation process that consists of digital data which passed through quality control together with talented virtual cartographers and smart algorithms in order to conserve the map object’s legibility with their contextual characteristic in different scales. This process is now achieved completely digitally through the use of the programme codes. But the considerable point is how these codes can be arranged in a logical sequence. In this study the common comprehensive modeling techniques namely condition-action, human interaction and constraint based models are described and compared with an application of text generalisation.
