Türkiye’de İlaç İthalatını Belirleyen Etmenler, 1996-2011
Öz
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin 1996-2011 dönemi için ilaç ithalatını belirleyen etmenler çekim modeli vasıtasıyla analiz edilmiştir. Modele, Türkiye’nin ilaç ithalatı yaptığı 20 ülke dahil edilmiştir. Bu ülkeler; ABD, Almanya, Avusturalya, Avusturya, Belçika, Birleşik Krallık, Çin, Danimarka, Finlandiya, Fransa, Güney Kore, Hollanda, İrlanda, İspanya, İsrail, İsveç, İsviçre, İtalya, Japonya, Kanada’dır. Çalışmada ortaya konulan teorik bulgulara paralel olarak üç temel gelişmeyi temsilen bağımsız değişkenler belirlenmiştir. Buna göre basit çekim modeli değişkenlerinin yanı sıra yabancı patent başvurularının toplam patent başvurularına oranı, GB kukla değişkeni, sağlıkta dönüşüm programı kukla değişkeni, kişi başı ilaç harcamaları, kişi başı özel kesim sağlık harcamaları ve kişi başı cepten yapılan sağlık harcamaları bağımsız değişkenler olarak belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen ampirik bulgular ışığında Türkiye ‘nin GSYİH’sı, yabancı patent başvurularının toplam patent başvurularına oranı, GB kukla değişkeni, kişi başı ilaç harcamaları ve kişi başı özel kesim sağlık harcamaları Türk ilaç ithalatını pozitif yönde, uzaklık ile kişi başı cepten yapılan sağlık harcamaları negatif yönde etkilemektedir.
