Speed Control of Photovoltaic Pumping System

Speed Control of Photovoltaic Pumping System

In this paper, an intelligent speed controller of permanent magnet synchronous motor is investigate. The motor speed leads a photovoltaic water pumping system. The photovoltaic generator is connected to boost converter which controlled by fuzzy logic technical, in view to aperate where the maximum power point tracking whatever the temperature and solar irradiance variation. So, to analyze the performance of speed control between the proportional integrator controller and fuzzy logic controlled. The synthesis of these speed controllers is developed and the simulations with Matlab/Simulink according to the progressive and abrupt load tests are shown and discussed.
