Sources of variation i the nylon bag technique

The nylon bag technique is a feed evaluation methods based on ruminal degradation characteristics. In situ measurements obtained according to this technique effected from sources of different variation, significantly. These variation sources are physical aspects of the bags, sample processing and weighing, placement of the bag within the rumen, rinsing procedures, effect of ration and animal, modeling degradation kinetics. It was aim that present sources of variation and suggestions relating to standardized of the technique will examine in this review.
