On preservation of ageing under minimum for dependent random lifetimes

In this note we consider a vector (X1, X2) of lifetimes whose dependence is described by an Archimedean copula, and we provide conditions useful to describe the relationships between ageing properties of X1 and X2 and ageing properties of their minimum. Examples are also provided.
