Effect of NaCl priming on seed germination of four coriander cultivars (Coriandrum sativum)

Giriş: Farklı orjinli (Tunus, Cezayir, Mısır ve Suriye) kişniş kültürlerinin (Coriandrum sativum) tohumlarına tuz stres koşulları altında astarlama işleminin optimum faydaları çalışıldı. Materyal ve Metot: Kişniş tohumları 25°C sıcaklıkta üç farklı zaman aralığında (12, 24 ve 36 saat) farklı NaCl seviyesinde (0, 2,4, and L") astarlama işlemi gerçekleştirildi. Sonrasında astarlanmış (P) ve astarlanmamış( NP) kişniş tohumları farklı tuz eriyiği (0, 2, 4, and L'1)i|e sulandı Bulgular: Elde edilen sonuçlara göre en yüksek çimlenme oranı L'1 NaCl eriyiğinin 12 saatlik uygulaması ile elde edildi. Genel olarak yükselen NaCl seviyesinin bitkide küçülmeye yol açtığı görüldü fakat bu küçülmenin astarlanmamış deneklerde astarlanmış deneklere oranla daha yüksek olduğu da görüldü. Sonuç: Çalışmamızın ortaya koyduğu üzere kişnişte, tuz stresi altında NaCl ile tohum astarlama işlemi tohum çimlenme performansını artırmak için kullanılabilir. Fakat NaCl astarlama işleminin bitkinin büyümesi ve gelişmesi üzerine etkilerinin araştırılmasını konu alan çalışmaların yapılması gereklidir.

Fakat NaCl astarlama işleminin bitkinin büyümesi ve gelişmesi üzerine etkilerinin araştırılmasını konu alan çalışmaların yapılması gereklidir.
