ORTODONTİK TEDAVİ GÖREN BİREYLERDE FARKLI GARGARALARIN AĞIZ

Bu çal# mada, farkl# kimyasal etkinli-e sahip üç a-#z gargaras#n#n k#sa süreli kullan#m#n#n(chlorhexidine gluconate, benzydamine hydrochloride (HCI) ve polyvinylpyrrolidone-iodine) ortodontik tedavi gören bireylerin a-#z sa-l#klar# üzerindeki etkileri de-erlendirilmi tir. Ya ortalamas# 14.5±2.4 y#l olan 60 birey 15'er ki ilik üç tedavi grubuna (%0.2 chlorhexidine gluconate, %0.15 benzydamine HCI ve %7.5 polyvinylpyrrolidone-iodine) ve bir kontrol grubuna (%0.9 sodium chloride içeren steril izotonic saline) ayr#lm# t#r. Bireylerin tedavi ba lang#c# ve tedaviden bir ay sonraki gingival indeks (GI), plak indeks (PI) ve di eti kanama indeksi (GBI) skorlar#ayn# periodontolog taraf#ndan de-erlendirilmi tir. Tedavi ba #nda, gingival indeks skorlar# “1” den yüksek olanlar tedavi grubunu, “1” den dü ük olanlar kontrol grubunu olu turmu tur. Cndeks de-eri “2” nin üzerinde olanlar çal# maya al#nmam# t#r. Gruplar aras#ndaki farkl#l#klar Varyans analizi kullan#larak de-erlendirilmi tir. GI skorlar#, PI skorlar#, ve GBI skorlar# incelendi-inde bir ayl#k gargara kullan#m#sonucunda a-#z hijyeninde olumlu de-i imlerin oldu-u belirlenmi tir. GI skorlar#, tedavi sonunda her üç gargara grubunda kontrol grubuna göre anlaml#düzeyde azal#rken, gargara gruplar# aras#nda herhangi bir fark bulunmam# t#r. Plak olu umunda ve di eti kanamas#n#nchlorhexidine gargaralar#n#nbelirlenmi tir. Sonuç olarak, ortodontik tedavi gören bireylerde a-#zsa-l#-#n#n iyile tirilmesinde etkili olmu tur
