CYCLIC FATIGUE RESISTANCE OF XP SHAPER AND HYFLEX EDM AFTER EXPOSURE TO SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE OR RC PREP

Background and Aim: This study aimed to investigate the cyclic fatigue resistance (CFR) of XP Shaper and HyFlex EDM after exposure to sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) or RC Prep. Materials and Methods: Thirty-six XP Shaper and HyFlex EDM files were assigned to 3 groups (n= 12): non-immersion (control), immersed into NaOCl (5.25%) or RC Prep for 10 min at 37°C. The files were analyzed for CFR and the number of cycles to failure (NCF) and fracture length (FL) was determined. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis test. Amaç: Bu çalışmada, sodyum hipoklorit (NaOCl) veya RC Prep’e maruz kaldıktan sonra XP Shaper ve HyFlex EDM eğelerinin döngüsel yorgunluk direncinin (CFR) araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Otuz altışar adet XP Shaper ve HyFlex EDM eğeleri daldırılmayan (kontrol), NaOCl (% 5.25) veya RC Prep içine 10 dakika süreyle 37 ° C›de daldırılan olmak üzere 3 gruba (n= 12) ayrıldı.
