ÖZTürk edebiyatının önemli yazarlarından biri olan Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel, Hanım Şiir Yazacak adlı tek perdelik oyununda basit bir konu işler. Oyun Leyla Hanım adlı şairin ilhamını kaybetmeden, yalnız kalıp şiirini bitirmek istemesine karşın, eve peşi sıra gelen misafirlerce rahatsız edilmesinin yarat-tığı komik durumlar üzerine kurulur. Bu çalışmada Henri Bergson’un mizah kuramın-dan faydalanılarak basit bir olay öyküsüne sahip eserlerin başarısının arkasında makine düzen ve yalınlığında işleyen yapıların yer aldığı gösterilmeye çalışılacaktır.
