Bu yazıda, 5 Ağustos 1921 tarihinde Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisinde kabul edilen Başkumandanlık Kanunu'nun uzatılma süreleri hakkında bilgi verilmekte, 20 Temmuz 1922'de dördüncü kez uzatılması sırasında Başkumandan Mustafa Kemal Paşa'nın, Meclis'te yaptığı konuşma ve bu konuşmaya dayanak oluşturan, kendi kaleminden çıkmış orijinal ön hazırlık notları sunulmaktadır.

In this essay, information regarding the extension periods of the Supreme Commander Act that was accepted by The Grand National Assembly of Turkey on August 5, 1921 is given, the speech of the Supreme Commander Mustafa Kemal Pasha before the Grand National Assembly during the fourth extension on July 20, 1922, and the original preliminary notes from his own pen which forms a basis to this speech are presented.
